THE FIRST WORD
In a primordial landscape, amidst volcanic eruptions and other natural disasters, a group of hominids listens to the calls of various animals and discovers their first articulated word: “bureaucracy.”
Suddenly, a surreal car accident transports the scene to the present day: a world filled with the hum of printers, fax machines, ringing phones, and bustling offices.
A modern man attempts—without success—to teach a pig the word “bureaucracy.” Frustrated by his failure, he transforms into a text-to-speech device and embarks on a missile-shaped journey in search of new worlds.
Meanwhile, the pig, attuned to the sounds of printers, phones, and faxes, gradually learns the word. Another car accident then returns the story to the primordial world, where the animals continue to chant the first word.
